With thankfulness for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of our father, Douglas Dewell, of Oshawa, ON.
Doug passed away after a brief illness on Friday, February 7, 2025, with his family by his side.

Predeceased by his parents, Percy and Evelyn, his sister Marilyn, and his brother David.
He is survived by his sister Carolyn Boyd, his children Kathleen (Lindsey), Ian (Janet), Elizabeth (Anthony), and Patrick (Javid),
as well as his beloved granddaughters Madelaine, Grace, Julia, and Claire.

Doug will be fondly remembered by his family, many friends, former students across Clarington, and his church family at
St. Paul’s United Church, Bowmanville, where he served as choir director and organist for almost 50 years.

Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Location: St. Paul’s United Church, 178 Church St, Bowmanville, ON L1C 1T9
Reception: Immediately following at Faith United Church, 1778 Nash Road, Courtice, ON
