McLEAN, Ronald E. – Passed away peacefully October 5, 2015 at the age of 88.

Predeceased by his wife Janette (1997) and companion Myrtle Meldrum (2013). Dear friend of Marjorie Fick. Loving dad of John McLean and Elaine Gillis. Dear grandpa of Shannon (Jeff) Spicer and the late Nathan Doan (2002). Loving great grandpa of Tristan, Benjamin and Nathan. Survived by siblings Jake, Kenneth, Ledson, Barbara, Doris and the late Virginia, Peggy, John and Richard. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial visitation will be held at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home, 197 King Street W. in Harrow, Ontario on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.

A Service to Celebrate Ron’s life will be held on Friday, October 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John Van Omme officiating. Interment to follow.

Memorials donations may be made by cheque to Canadian Diabetes Association.

The family would like to thank Jake and Mary Ann, Dr. Peter Kelton, Chartwell Kingsville and the wonderful nurses on the 2nd floor at Leamington District Hospital for their care and compassion given to dad.
